The right candidate could eventually ascend to the role of the controller, overseeing a team with direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- This position involves chart of account reconciliations, oversight of financial reporting, and monthly budgeting comparative analysis.
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing budgets.
- General ledger account reconciliations, verify the accuracy of data.
- Report, identify, and correct errors made by both internal and external personnel.
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
- Assist with quarterly payroll reports and annual 1099’s.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of Accounting experience
- QuickBooks Desktop & Online experience preferred.
